Vasco came to the real estate industry after 22 years in sales and marketing with 12 years as a small business owner. His interest in real estate goes back to when he was a 20 year old and bought his first property in Bicton WA. Since then Vasco has renovated homes, bought investment property, completed a suburban sub-division as well as having built his own designer home.
Now ten years into the real estate industry Vasco's vast real estate experience includes selling a variety of properties from single loft bedroom units, million dollar riverside homes, selling and leasing commercial property. In this time Vasco has predominately worked as Sales Manager for a suburban office where he took it upon himself to train new recruits into the industry.
“ I was never given the opportunity to learn from experienced estate agents, so I made a commitment to myself early in my career that if I was fortunate enough to be in a position to help new recruits I would. I love the buzz of seeing someone come to the industry and teaching them the ropes while watching them grow in skill and confidence.”
With a broad and varying career across most aspects of the real estate industry, the one thing that Vasco loves is helping people make their next move.
“It is such a privilege to be entrusted with peoples biggest assets and then being able to use my sales, marketing and most importantly negotiating skills to be able to get them a deal that enables them to move on to the next stage of their lives ”.
Vasco is an award winning agent within RE/MAX as well as an Australian and International franchise group. To add to his career experience and skill Vasco became a licensed Auctioneer and more recently studied and completed a Diploma in Property, enabling him to become a licensee. It was no wonder that the day would come when Vasco would choose to open his own office.
“ Whilst I had a desire to have my own office, to hold the reins so to speak, I was well aware that the job of running a Real Estate office is a big one. That leads me to the next decision and that was with which group to align myself with. For me the choice was easy, it had to be RE/MAX. RE/MAX sells more real estate than any other agency in the world. There has to be something outstanding to back that up and what I found was the RE/MAX brand is powerful enough to create great awareness whilst allowing the freedom and flexibility to create individual campaigns to suit each client”.
So in 2015 Vasco opened his new office and RE/MAX Momentum was born.
